We will explore together Julia Camerson’s Seeking Wisdom: A Spiritual Path to Creative Connection and delve into the spiritual practices from her seminal book The Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity:
“Creativity is God’s gift to us. Using our creativity is our gift back to God.”
Too often, we look for answers from others and wait for their approval. What if we had a simple process of seeing with clarity that is authentic, mindful, intuitive, and heart-felt?
In our book for this series, the author offers a vision of prayer as a creative process, rather than a religious act. Along the way, this spiritual process sparks our creativity and deepens our spirituality.
As we journey through her 6-week program, we apply the tools for self-discovery and mental decluttering that she’s shared with over 5 million readers: morning pages, artists’ dates, contemplative walks, and listening for that still small voice of God.
Please note that this process is welcoming to all, regardless of your faith tradition or practice of prayer. Likewise, no “creativity” needed. Join us to deepen your connection with yourself and your Creator.
