DESCRIPTION:Every stage of life’s journey\, from childhood through adolescence\, to adulthood\, to the wisdom years of retirement\, has its own set of tasks that help us grow and mature. So\, too\, with our spiritual journey. \nCrossing the threshold into the second half of life is one of the most significant\, transformative challenges and rewards of the spiritual journey. \nDuring this retreat we will explore the challenge of being at this critical threshold event and how the Spirit companions and transforms us. We will set out on a new spiritual path akin to Robert Frost’s less traveled road. \nRetreat Leader – Fr. Phil Cover is an experienced retreat leader\, spiritual director\, educator\, pilgrim guide and program director. His spiritual roots are in the Christian contemplative tradition. Currently\, he serves as part of the adjunct staff at the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation. He is co-author of Journey with Purpose\, The Inner Work of Lent\, and The Seventh Trumpet.
