DESCRIPTION:A state of the heart mostly associated with the death of someone we love\, grief also finds us through many kinds of life transitions and losses. Even happy times like retirement\, relocation or the birth of a child can provoke grief for what is ending\, as our new phase of life begins. \nIn this program we will use our own experiences of transition and loss to explore the mystery of God’s presence during the grieving process. The day will begin with a contemplation of the trees – a type of nature divina or “reading God in nature” – and end with a floating Eucharist from kayaks and canoes*. \nCome for the morning\, afternoon or both sessions. Breakfast will be available and you are invited to bring your lunch.
