The celebration of Women’s Christmas is an invitation to rest, Give yourself this special time to refresh your spirit and restore in the company of other women. We’ll sink into this restorative day as a celebration of Celtic Women’s Christmas, an ancient and time-honored tradition of Celtic spirituality shared at the Feast of Epiphany. In our day, it is a day set aside for women to gather, to be in community with each other, and to rest and refill after a busy holiday season.
Join us on Saturday January 4, 2025 for this time of rest in the Divine God. Through poetry, song, time outdoors (weather permitting) and quiet reflection we will refresh our spirits by learning a bit about the Celtic tradition and resting in the Love of God and in the loving community gathered for the day.
Celtic spirituality is embodied in the voices of Celtic poets and singers, such as John Phillip Newell, John O’Donohue, Padraig O’Tuama, and Celtic Woman. Please join us to honor these voices, rest, and immerse yourself in nature.
We will enjoy a light breakfast, a wholesome lunch, and the opportunity to enjoy the riverside beauty in our midst and immerse ourselves in nature.
