Come to The Retreat House and immerse yourself in the world of prayer beads…
In this fascinating and fun workshop based on the book, A String & A Prayer by Eleanor Wiley, you will learn about the cultural and religious uses of prayer beads, look at their various designs and symbols, and understand stringing techniques.
Then, you’ll get to choose a design, set an intention and make a set of your own. All materials will be supplied, but feel free to bring any of your own that hold particular meaning for you personally.
A suggested donation of $20 will be gratefully accepted (just a guideline – all are welcome regardless of finances.)

Rob’s Hope offers programs and activities designed for the non-artist, encouraging people to develop a creative practice of their own – regardless of artistic talent or economic circumstances.
