Then we take turns sharing what bubbles up and listen to each other’s reflections. It’s an hour of friendly companionship–no commitment\, no charge. We will use a text of autobiographical narratives: Searching for Your Soul: Writers of Many Faiths  \nShare Their Personal Stories of Spiritual Discovery\, edited by Katherine Kurs. I like the wide range of religious backgrounds and orientations in this book because the variety enables us to see our own story more clearly. The primary task is to let the stories and poems sink into your mind and heart so that they can enable you to rediscover the depths of your own story.
