Our focus will be on Indigenous\, Black\, Latino and Asian/Pacific American peoples as their histories’ intersect with European American history\, and the impact of all of it on our world today.\n \nWe will watch documentaries and read articles to help inform us before gathering for conversation on six Thursday afternoons via Zoom. Learning together can help us peel away the layers that have contributed to the challenges and divides of the present day and reveal the origins of the inequities that are deeply embedded in our communities today.\n \nThe Episcopal Church and Katrina Browne (the director of the documentary Traces of the Trade) have developed this rich series as part of The Episcopal Church’s Becoming Beloved Community which is its long-term commitment to racial healing\, reconciliation and justice.\n \nA suggested donation of $75 is requested but all are welcome regardless of payment amount.
