DESCRIPTION:Gather with us at The Foundry in Denton\, Maryland on Friday\, February 24 for Heart Songs – an evening of spoken word poetry that gives voice to what we seek in the world. What are your Heartsongs for our world? All are welcome to bring a found poem or one of your own to share and/or settle into the space to listen. \n“Whatever it is that a person needs or wants\, they understand why that matters\, and that is the unfolding of their Heartsong. When a person offers that – what they need and want most – to others\, that is the next part of their Heartsong… In sharing our Heartsong with others\, it goes out into the world\, and somehow\, circles back to us.” \nMattie J.T. Stepanek \nWe offer this unique gathering in collaboration with Caroline Arts. Enjoy being part of an afternoon of poetry held in a gentle\, friendly\, and inclusive space with reverence for the dignity of each person.  \n
