DESCRIPTION:We look forward to gathering with you at The Retreat House for our Spring Quiet Day. Using prayers and meditations from John Philip Newell’s Celtic Benediction\, we will discern what seeds the Spirit may be planting in us. What can we do to nurture these and bring them to fruition? \n\n\n\n\nOur Spring Quiet Day will offer time for journaling\, silence\, time outdoors\, andgentle conversation. We will enjoy exploring together using poetry\, music\, and the gifts of Mother Nature.\n\nThis gathering will take place inside The Retreat House and on the beautiful grounds. We ask that participants be fully vaccinated. A light breakfast and lunch will be served. A suggested donationof $50 per person will be gratefully accepted. She is a musician\,teacher and spiritual director on the Eastern Shore of Maryland\, where she lives with her husband and assorted pets. Julia is the Director of Music and the Organist at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Centreville. She has certificates in leading groups and in spiritual direction from the Shalem Institute in Washington\, DC\, and Bon Secours Retreat Center in Marriottsville\, MD.
