DESCRIPTION:Advent is a time of holy waiting amid the busyness of life. This quiet day is an opportunity to slow down and listen for God’s wake up call sounded in scripture\, poetry\, silence and conversation. You may use this day to prepare your soul for Christmas and to embrace the spiritual gifts that await you this season. \nBring a journal and come dressed for time outside. \nBreakfast and lunch will be available and a suggested donation of $40 per person will be gratefully accepted. A writer and workshop leader\, Linda is co-author of the book Petite Retreats: Renewing Body\, Mind\, and Spirit without Leaving Home. Linda lives in Easton\, Maryland.
