Summer Quiet Day

This Seasonal Quiet Day will offer time for journaling, silence, time outdoors, and gentle conversation.
Enjoy the open space to explore readings having to do with the long season of summer and its invitation to step back, grow or slow down – or all of these! We’ll enjoy scripture readings and poetry, from David Whyte, Rumi, and Mary Oliver, as inspirations for our own lives and as discernment for what the Spirit might be calling us to do.
We will also take inspiration from nature and the beautiful grounds of the Retreat House. What have I planted this season? How is it growing? Perhaps I want to plan a late-season crop?
