WISDOM CIRCLE: Practicing Together the 23rd Psalm

For century upon century people have leaned into this psalm of David in preparation for times of trial and during times of suffering. During WWII, school children in our country would memorize it and it surely has become an abiding balm for people of faith.
Join in our Wisdom Circle as we practice in community this beloved psalm through listening, devoting each week to one or two verses, letting them settle in with times of quiet, optional sharing, and prayer. Upon leaving, we are invited to discover and wonder about the times in our week where our verses can be seen.

Retreat Leader: Heather Strang is a graduate of the Shalem Institute’s Spiritual Guidance Program and is a contemplative small group and retreat facilitator, spiritual director and culinary director. Heather is active in prayer ministries with St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Annapolis, Maryland where she resides with her husband.
