The Retreat House at Hillsboro invites you to participate in a three-part workshop series to be held at host parishes within the Diocese of Easton. The workshops will encourage open, grace-filled conversations about reconciliation, forgiveness and transformation.

Over the course of three evenings, participants will explore together the subtle, and not so subtle, ways that bias and racism still exist and how to open our eyes and hearts to healing. The program will include learning to listen and speak from an open, non-judgmental heart through story telling, prayer, and conversation.

During these sessions, we will:

… NOTICE the power of our words and assumptions.
… DEEPEN our awareness of our capacity to hurt or to heal.
… ENHANCE our sensitivity to one another
… REMEMBER God’s desire for us to respect the dignity of every
human being.

Workshops will be held every other week during September and October. Register for all three
at one or more locations. Beverages and a light snack will be provided. Free-will donations will
be gratefully accepted at the door.
